A healing adventure through sound
You are Scout, a robot awakening in an alien world.
Your only companions: mysterious sheep-like creatures called Clofens.
Your only tool: the ability to record and replay sounds.
Together, you'll learn to shepherd through acoustics,
heal a world scarred by ancient sonic warfare,
and discover that listening is more powerful than commanding.

In Baacadia, you are Scout — a recorder robot adrift in a world of drifting dunes and strange silences. The creatures here, Clofen, don't respond to commands. They respond to memory.
No orders. No leash. Just sound, stillness, and the slow pull of something that feels like belonging.
Approach any sound source — crystal formations, ancient structures, unknown creatures — and hold still. Scout captures it. The world has been waiting to be heard.
Scout has no voice of its own. But it carries yours now. Play back what you've gathered — different sounds reach different things.
Emit the Sound of Drive and your Clofen mirror your every step. Stop, and they stop. It's not a command — it's an invitation.
The Sound of Merge pulls your flock close, gathering them from wherever they've wandered. They come not because they must — but because they recognize something familiar.
Your Clofen are natives. They know this land. Watch what frightens them, what draws them, what makes them curious — and you'll understand where to go next.
Ancient Noise Crystals still corrupt the land — dissonant remnants of a forgotten war. Find the source. Quiet it. Watch the world breathe again.
Soft dunes. Alien flora. The bones of things that used to be enormous. Baacadia is a world still healing — and so is Scout.
Scout doesn't speak. Neither do the Clofen.
You're a recorder robot, and they're your flock. Shepherd them across a post-apocalyptic desert with one tool: Record and Replay. Build a sound library, guide creatures that respond to audio cues, and explore an open world without quest markers — no fail states, no time pressure. Restore a silenced world's melody, one sound at a time.
